Diagnosis
Mesoscutum with large-meshed, raised and strong reticulation, scutellum smooth and shiny; petiole long, LP/WP = 1.6 in female, 2.2 in male; gaster poorly sclerotized and collapsed in dried specimens. Similar to amalurus but flagellum longer and more slender in female, in male with scape short (in caperatus scape reaches upper level of frontal suture, in amalurus it reaches level of upper vertex).
